Spartan Orthotics and Prosthetics provides a wide variety of orthotic and prosthetic services. Below is a list of in-house, custom fabricated orthoses, however, we also utilize other manufacturers if requested. Ankle Foot Orthosis

Spartan

AFO used to stabilize the ankle. Typical diagnoses: Toe Walking, Spastic Cerebral Palsy, Foot Drop, Club Foot, Muscular Dystrophy, etc.

Solid, Hinged

Panther

AFO used to prevent crouch gait, while also providing stability at the ankle. Typical diagnoses: Spina Bifida, Knee Flexion Contractures, etc.

Wolverine

AFO used to provide ankle stability through preventing plantar flexion. This orthosis contains an inner boot SMO to maintain skin integrity. Typical diagnoses: Toe Walking, Spastic Cerebral Palsy, Foot Drop, decreased skin sensation, Muscular Dystrophy, etc.

Normal, Low-style
Solid, Hinged

Jaguar

AFO that provides the most ankle stability by preventing ankle motion and decreasing knee flexion. This orthosis contains an inner boot SMO to maintain skin integrity. Typical diagnoses: Spastic Cerebral Palsy, Club Foot, etc.

Bengal

Nighttime AFO used to provide a constant stretch of the calf muscle. This orthosis contains an inner boot SMO to maintain skin integrity. Typical diagnoses: Toe Walking, Spastic Cerebral Palsy, heel cord tightness, plantar fasciitis, etc.

Lion

AFO used to stabilize the ankle. Typical diagnoses: Toe Walking, Spastic Cerebral Palsy, heel cord tightness, etc.

Hornet

AFO used to stabilize the ankle. Typical diagnoses: Toe Walking, Spastic Cerebral Palsy, heel cord tightness, Muscular Dystrophy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, etc.

Supra-Malleolar Orthosis

Cardinal

SMO used to treat ankle pronation due to low muscle tone. Typical diagnoses: Trisomy 21, Hypotonia, Developmental Delay, etc.

Raven

SMO used to inhibit toe walking. Typical diagnoses: Toe Walking, pronation, mild heel cord tightness, etc.

Eagle

SMO used to prevent ankle pronation or supination. This orthosis contains an inner boot SMO to maintain skin integrity. Typical diagnoses: Spastic Cerebral Palsy, pronation, etc.

Foot Orthotics

Gopher

UCBL custom orthosis, with foam liner, used to prevent excessive pronation/supination, often reducing pain.

Raider

Custom shoe insert used to prevent excessive pronation/supination, often reducing pain.

Texan

UCBL custom orthosis, without foam liner, used to prevent excessive pronation/supination, often reducing pain.

Elbow

Bruin

Elbow orthosis used to prevent hyperextension of the elbow after injury. This orthosis is often used in athletics.

Wrist Hand Orthosis

Wrist hand orthosis used to maintain wrist extension due to wrist flexion contractures. Typical diagnoses: Spastic Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, etc.
